Television news programs generally lead with a violent story in order to gain an audience. This is free society people can stay what they want. ” Media violence has many negative effect on youth today to commit crimes in society.”

Violent media exposure of children or adults to violent media is a cause of aggression and violent behavior has been one of the most intensely debated issues in criminal justice and the broader populace. Concern have come and gone that media such as comic books, as well as television and movies, would lead to waves of rebelliousness, violence, and moral degradation. Sherry John talks about media violence effect and violent crimes and about the effect of media ranging from books to video games have a long history ( 2006). I think this topic will help to support the claim that Federal Government is considering options to regulate violent content on television, and there have been at least ten state legislative effort to regulate the sale of violent video games. I find this source credible given Sherry effort to improve most people do not imitate violence that they see in the media.

The source will be valuable because it poses specific need to address my essay. Children in the United States at are exposed to great deal of media violence. Television violence affect young people of all ages, all socio- economic level, and all levels of intelligence.

CNN claimed that playing games like ” Warcraft III ” and StarCraft” inspired Adam Lanza to commit the Sandy Hook shooting. Another study from psychologist and researcher Christopher Ferguson concluded that met analysis uncovers no real link between violence and gaming. The study of this articles believe the media violence hypothesis has received its greatest support from professional organization such as the American psychological association and the American academy of pediatrics.

The article is credible because it is in a published HHS Public Access. This will be helpful for my easy paper because it is about the media violence effect and violent crime. People living in a free society must get used to inconvenience caused by having to see or hear speech that they may dislike or even hate. My educated , thoughtful society can live with more freedom the more its citizens take personal steps.
